Can WE walk more than the Mayors? In collaboration with the Blue Cross Foundation, The Mayor’s Walking Challenge gives Driggs Mayor August, Tetonia Mayor Schindler and Victor Mayor Frolich an opportunity to earn funds for their city while doing something that’s good for their health — walking in October. Mayors can earn up to $1,000 for their community by hitting their goal. The Mayors are setting a 10,000 step (5 miles) average goal per day for themselves during the month of October. We are encouraging you to report your walking miles for October so we can show the Mayors how we get after it!
This is NOT a fundraiser for Trails & Pathways and there is no cost to participate. We are using the challenge to inspire healthy habits and encourage you to try new pathways and trails (with your bear spray and blaze orange!) this fall.
You can report your mileage as often as you like, or at the end of the month. Enter your mileage here.
