Volunteer Trail day #1 -South Fork of Horseshoe

South Fork Horseshoe National Trails Day Celebration

Date: Saturday, June 3

Time: 10am - 2pm

Location: Meet at the Horseshoe Parking Lot

Age: Families welcome! Kids 13 and under must have a parent or guardian present.

Activities: Low level maintenance such as cut back veg, clearing tread, tread maintenance, rehabbing some muddy sections, cleaning drains/culverts. After, we'll have a casual taco picnic and swap our best trail stories. Organized with our trail partners Mountain Bike Tetons, Teton Valley Back Country Horsemen and the Teton Basin Ranger District.

Recommended Supplies:

  • Water

  • Snacks

  • Appropriate clothing for weather. Be ready for all conditions

  • Long pants

  • Closed- toe shoes

  • Sunscreen/Sun Protection

  • Insect repellent

  • Necessary medications (e.g. Epipen, insulin, etc.)
