
Darby Wind Cave Trail

Activities: Rock and brush clearing, branch lopping, erosion control
Recommended Supplies:
Water
Snacks and lunch
Appropriate clothing for weather. Be ready for all conditions.
Long pants
Closed- toe shoes
Sunscreen/Sun Protection
Insect repellent
Necessary medications (e.g. Epipen, insulin, etc.)
Personal hand sanitizer
Masks/ Facial coverings are not required, but we encourage you to wear one if you are comfortable doing so.
Things to know:
You must sign up to participate prior to arriving at the work day. We will NOT provide or accept paper Acknowledgement of Risk waivers at the event, so please submit it ahead of time.
To minimize group size, volunteers will be split in to small work teams of 5-6 people. Teams will go out with at trail crew leader and work on dispersed trail projects.
To eliminate a high-touch item, please provide your own water.
We will provide packaged Kate’s Bars, but we suggest you bring your own additional snacks and lunch.

General Guidelines for Volunteers Regarding COVID-19:
Our number one priority will always be the safety of our volunteers and event participants.
DO NOT attempt to volunteer if you have:
Experienced symptoms that could be related to COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Feel ill or sick in any way, regardless of symptoms.
DO ask about any risk that may be associated with the trail work and DO NOT take part if you are uncomfortable with the level of risk.
