You may also have seen the blue signs up around town for the Give and Inch, Gain a Mile fundraiser. What's it about?
Whitney is an avid trail user and someone who is very much at home on the trails in Teton Valley. She will soon be leaving for a year-long military deployment. Whitney launched a $5000 fundraising campaign driven by a deep-seated belief in community stewardship of the trails. She aims to ensure the trails' upkeep in her absence, for the enjoyment and benefit of all. And guess what? Whitney will shave her head in late February as part of the deal! Read more here.
We still have unmet general operating costs to raise this fiscal year. If you haven't yet bought your annual trail sticker this winter, or if you have the ability to give a little more to Trails & Pathways right now, Give an Inch, Gain a Mile is a great way to both support us and Whitney's heartfelt effort.
